Daryl Hannah

Daryl Hannah (born 12/3/60 in Chicago) is an actress and environmental activist. Daughter of a tugboat owner and schoolteacher, she grew up in Long Grove, IL. She made her film debut at 20 in The Fury (1978). Breakthrough roles in Blade Runner (1982) and Splash (1984, BAFTA nominated). Other films: Roxanne, Wall Street, Steel Magnolias, Kill Bill. Active environmentalist, arrested numerous times for protests. Lives on plant-based farm in Tennessee.
